Certification

We are a manufacturer and exporter of solid Teak, Merbau & Bangkirai decking, flooring and Custom Prefabricated products with a capacity of 25+ containers per month.

We care for our rich Indonesian heritage and natural endowment, so we comply fully with current regulations for the sourcing, manufacturing, and distribution of our timber. We voluntarily submit to licensing standards for every one of our exported products, and we welcome suggestions from regulatory bodies to improve our processes in line with current requirements.

Since 2013, all timber products in Indonesia are subject to the timber legality assurance system (SVLK). In accordance with current regulations, we hold SVLK legality certificates and export documents (V-Legal Documents) for all our products.

More recently, Indonesia announced that it would be issuing FLEGT licenses to timber products exported to the EU. V-Legal Documents will continue to be issued, but only for non-EU exports. We will be providing our clients from abroad with export documents, accordingly.

We’ve undergone rigorous audits and inspections to show that we comply fully with current requirements. Each audit takes 48 factors into account. The list includes not only manufacturing processes, but also health and safety, employee welfare, and trading practices.

PT Sucofindo, Indonesia’s legality verification body and licensing authority, has thoroughly inspected our facilities, our documentation, and our internal processes, and found them to be satisfactory. The auditor also held public consultations involving NGOs, forestry managers, religious leaders, and elected officials. And following our certification, PT Sucofindo continues to carry out regular audits of our production facilities, as required by law.

Sustainable production is at the core of our business, and our certificates attest to this. The timber balance sheet reports, tally sheets, forestry official checks, permits, sales reports, and all other paperwork is thoroughly verified for compliance. We undergo on-site inspections, wood anatomy testing, and density testing, ensuring full traceability and authenticity for our products.

Data reconciliation is also extremely important in this industry, and we’re more than happy to have our documents scrutinized at every step of our production cycle. After all, substitution with inferior species and document fraud are not unheard of in this industry. It’s for this reason that we only source wood from certified Registered Forest concessions (HPH Holders) to ensure sustainable sourcing. We harvest and store local timbers only, and we voluntarily comply with licensing standards in exporting our products to international markets.

In the interest of our local communities, as well as our own business growth, we also strive to minimize our footprint and our burden on the planet by working as efficiently as possible to lower our energy demand, reducing waste, and recycling as much as possible.

We recommend to all our clients that they only collaborate with companies that comply with SVLK licencing rules, providing thorough documentation that backs up sustainability claims. As the need for more rigorous testing and verification arises, we pledge our unwavering cooperation with regulatory authorities to make our processes greener and safer for the environment.
